The ground is being laid as we speak. Regional airline management realizes their business model is quickly dying. FFD contracts are done, and they know the only way to survive is to strip labor costs to bare bones. That's the only way they'll be able to profitably operate 65-76 seat aircraft. The regional industry is rapidly shrinking, and manager is scrambling to adapt. They either adapt, or they die.

I have come to terms with this. It's unfortunately the way the system has to un-do years of bad juju. If I have to lose my job so that others in the long term future are set, so be it. I won't fight it that's for sure. How could anyone think that it's the norm to just go through flight training, graduate, and start flying jets while management can't hire you fast enough. There is something wrong with that picture. It was a false system that was only temporary. Times up.....
