I'm relatively new on APC, but I've been trolling for a few years. Retire from the AF on July 31 and available for civilian work in April/May. I've got an ATP w/737 Type, an A&P and expired CFI tickets. 2500 TT and 2000 TPIC. My Pilot experience is Mil ME Tactical Jet and Light GA. My A&P experience is mostly Military Jet and Light GA. Read no turboprop experience, Pilot or Mechanic.

For personal reasons, I'm targeting a specific defense contractor position and I want to become Mr. Dash-8. I'm really interested in Piedmont and willing to live where based if hired. Question 1: Thoughts on Piedmont? Question 2: If hired, I plan to approach them and ask if I can work as a Mechanic Part-time (days off)...has anyone ever heard of this being done? Think this could be possible? Of course I would need to be domiciled in a city with a MX base...I have not applied for a pilot position yet...
