What I'm saying PG is what Delta minimum hiring requirements have we ever had an issue with? So much so it would cause us to negotiate with them on it? I don't see anything wrong with their standards.
But it looks like with Pinnacle's MEC negotiating directly with the company, without DALPA present, decided they did. So they negotiated or worked out a deal on those published hiring minimums to make sure they don't apply to them like they did to you or me.
I hear ya. But my point is, if it was important to us, we should have negotiated it. Just because Delta didn't do something previously, doesn't mean they don't have the right to do it in the future....unless we negotiate to the contrary.
This is the same thing with respect to RJ flying. When I got hired (a LONG LONG time ago), our PWA said pilots on the Delta Seniority List would fly any airplane OVER 70 seats. We COULD have said any aircraft over 49 seats. But we didn't. And the rest.....is history.
