I don't know if you've done the Falklands before, but if you are going to Mount Pleasant, eat at the NCOs mess. It has great food and isn't nearly as stuffy as the officer's mess. Also try and pick up some of the maps and airway references at either Brize or Ascension. They have some really good stuff, and their oceanic charts actually go north/south just for this route. If you've done it all before...never mind.
Also, if you have time, Ascension has some amazing fishing. My last RON there was too short for it, but I've heard from others.
