I'm guessing you're talking about first year pay. You're paid the highest of the 50 hour first year guarantee, what you credit (flying, deadhead, extra days, war zone) or rig. The rig pays 1 hour's pay for every 4.95 hours you're away from base. so if you're on the road more than 10 and a half days the rig will trump guarantee.
