I also fly extra in vacation months. However, I also bid reserve and try to skate too. IOW, I try to game the system for max pay and/or max quality of life. Same for me. Plus, small categories (i.e., almost all of those outside of ATL) don't offer nearly the opportunity to pick up white slips or green slip that ATL does. Its a 'hole 'nother world out here. For example, most of last month there was ONE trip in open time for 73 FO's, 0 for CA's. Right now, there are two trips in open for Feb for FO's. Not exactly shooting fish in a barrel.
