If your issue is specifically with Republic, I certainly understand.
the SKYW thing was 50-seats only per jet, my understanding. This new development (at least for me) took me by surprise because it is the larger E-175 and the larger the jet, the closer the resemblance to the larger brand, AA (IE 737, Airbus) becomes. Hence if (again, just me) I was in charge of the planet (and I am not...), I would have kept that at "Legacy Eagle" (I just invented that term) with folks who for umpteen years have worked in furtherance of the brand, not merely Point A to Point B.

In 2013, the traveling public knows the RJ's are "baby jets" and not the "big airline". So the SKYW thing (in my opinion) is not the same thing as the Republic thing.

Disclaimer: did I say this was my opinion ?

Thanks
