Arguably, a non-rev ride probably costs DAL some money, but I believe a Buddy Pass is still a positive revenue stream for DAL. Any Tom, Dick, or Harry can get a BP from a DAL guy, but with less than 10 years of semi-honorable service , I am not afforded that benefit.
And, no, I don't expect any negotiating capitol to be expended on this, but perhaps a world-famous LOA might afford this small bennie to future retirees with less than 10 years DAL service....

I looked into the early out program, the "55" one. My understanding was you would have gotten non-rev benefits with that one. U Should have jumped on it if so--I'd think having non-rev privileges for life would outweigh 1 more year of flying until forced out. Just a thought for you to mull over if you're looking for more sour grapes
