But if they did, they wouldn't be around long. Or wouldn't exist in the first place. This is a mainline scope problem and will require a mainline scope solution, regardless of the moral and philosophical issues.
In the meantime, those of us stuck down here in the peewees can do one of two things:
1. Try to improve our contracts knowing full well that if we somehow overcome all the odds and get a decent contract, we *will* be withered into nothingness, likely with a trip to bankruptcy in the meantime.
2. Deal management an ace, undercut the competition, and flourish.
From ALPA's recent dealings in the Pinnacle fiasco, it's clearer than ever that they're united with management in wanting us to pick option #2.
