Sorry to hear this. You are literally graded on a point scale for all of your responses. The situation, action etc format is something they are really looking for. Something as simple as that can throw off your score just enough to miss the cut over the next guy. Everyone there was qualified but it's highly unlikely they'd hire everyone so even a small thing can make the difference.

If you interview again, or for those reading who may have an interview: call emerald interview consulting. They intimately know the questioning format and the type of answers they are looking for. They will work with you on many questions to find which one of your stories work best for that particular situation. Once you have the story they will work with you to tweak it the JB way ie change FA to crewmember, pax to customer, I to we etc. If you don't make phase II you get a refund.

Can you get hired without it, of course you can. This simply refines the process. Remember, they only ask you five questions so while not difficult, you have a limited time to shine.
