The 824 has a cap of 20/month unless AE wants to release more (they never did in the past). That means if its true that AA ramps up hiring in the fall to 70-80/month, Eagle pilots could go 1 for 4. All pilots outside the 824 (or who have AA numbers already) have no contractual protection nor certainty of flowing to AA and I wouldn't count on that.
Oh nancy, the 824 has a minimum of 20 like you stated but we don't know how many AMR will release as they've never done the 824 before like you are implying. When AE released you to AA how many were released a month? You geezers were gone quick (but it took 10 years to get there). But seriously, you often bring good information.
So it sounds like ToHO will stay atop the food chain, so we will see the US Air boyzz as well as keep ToHo... I got my popcorn ready, as well as my unemployment paperwork before you say anything!
