Without vacation you don't normally pull Mon-Thu reserve only. You're going to do a 5 day stint to get the 17-18 or so days of reserve in. Unless you do a day on an odd ball week.
Vacation makes it even harder to set up a good reserve schedule (4 day stints). I guess you could make an argument for breaking up your vacation to make this happen, but then well, it's not truly "vacation" any longer.
Bottom Line: the pro rated table of X days needs some serious tinkering. I'm confident we'll get it in the next contract.
