Tony I'd like to see hard evidence of your claim that we are the most expensive DCI operator. Not calling BS, just want to see something to back up that claim.

As for L-XJT negotiating rates - That's what any management team would do under this situation. We have a ton of 50-seaters; why not try to negotiate additional flying. We recently received a union e-mail stating the following:

"At this time, however, we have agreed with the Company that further direct discussions on Compensation and Scheduling would not be productive and have decided to move ahead with mediation. We expect that mediation will take place in mid-February. Next week, we will communicate more details on mediation and what we can expect as we move toward the end of the new equipment process."

What that tells me is L XJT is fighting for either the same or better compensation for the dual-class RJs. Nobody is trying to whipsaw.
