This thread is 5 pages in and the old "cruise pilot" has not been mentioned. Maybe that's what the company is hoping for. Pay too much attention to this strange airfield (PIBS) over here while we slip this other thing right by them.

I envision over 65 guys retaining their seniority and becoming defacto RFOs (never at the controls below altitude XX,XXX) at a pay rate well below current RFO rates. And when there are not enough 65+'ers to fill the pure RFO/cruise pilot lines then.....
