You only make $250 a week (all of which is taxable) as a base pay. Since everyone is initially assigned JFK, we all make perdiem 24/7 until we leave training and return to our domicile. The perdiem was recently cut to $1.55 per the new contract. Since this is not taxed it comes out to over $1,100 a month. Add it all up and your making $2,000.00 a month (after taxes!!) You also get your own room at a quality hotel with free wireless internet, shuttle, and hair dryer. That's right...your own personal hair dryer. Should we make more money? Hell Yeah! I just got my direct deposit today and it's all there.
