The HNL based pilots knew that flying contract wasn't long term and would be most likely coming back at the end of it before they even went out there.
More specifically, they all went out there
voluntarily as that base was outside the terms of our contract. No pity from me. If they had all held out, the union could have had some leverage to negotiate better pay overrides and work rules for that base.
