Unity is action, not symbols around our necks. The more we focus on the red hearing argument, the more time we waste addressing the actions that will help achieve a good contract (like keeping our fellow pilots from continually screwing us flying DP’s). It's as if the company is the one promoting the lanyard and pin issue. It takes our minds off of the real issues that promote unity, and that make a real difference at the negotiating table. Almost makes me wonder if the negotiating team is trying to tell us not to expect too much.
Deciding whether or not to wear a lanyard takes like, what...3 seconds? Maybe 5 if you are a Marine... I think that leaves us plenty of time to look at the real issues...don't ya think? Personally, I love my ID PAK lanyard...but I swapped it out for the ALPA one. Get on board...this stuff is too easy to not do it.
