Been there done that. It helps to place the radio right up against the offender's wall. The two times I've done it I also placed a pillow over the radio to limit collateral damage to other neighbors. I set the alarm to go off just as I'm leaving the room so I can enjoy hearing firsthand that my petty yet quite satisfying juvenile response is in fact effective.
Now that is one awesome/great move.!! If and when I return to flying in the US, I will do the same thing. I can't even begin to tell you of all the nights I spent wide awake in EWR because two FA's next door couldn't decide over sausage/pepperoni.!! Good for you..!!
