What's the big deal with wearing a lanyard? Is it not easier than (being asked) to walk a picket line? You got to wear you ID anyway, why not put your "needs" (good contract/working QOL/pay raise) ahead of your desire to show loyalty to your school or former military employer.
Such a small gesture to help an important goal. It just reminds me of just how hard it will be to ask for "real" sacrifice, if and when we get that point.
It is so much easier to stay in the foxhole and let others fight the fight. You get the same rewards whether you help the cause or not. Consider that when you are asked to wear a lanyard or add a pin to your lapel.

Again insults instead of a rational argument. I wear a lanyard. Worn one for quite a while. I just dont think it accomplishes anything. We have a union that is to afraid to hold DP flyers accountable but they expect great results with 98% compliance of lanyard wearing.
And I am simply pointing out attacking members because they voice a rational argument is a terrific way to gain unity.
Fraternally yours,
