I'm not sure that NYC is in the clear just yet. I'm off north and east of you in New England and we're getting heavy snow right now (Though sitting in front of my woodstove with a 12 pack of IPA chilling just outside on the deck is taking the sting out of the weather).

In any event, the system from the west and the Low from the south haven't fully combined yet. That low will sit off Nantucket and throw snow bands on shore overnight. Long island and southern CT are getting hammered right now and the winds are over 40kts in BOS. Before all is said and done, I think a lot of places will have close to 2ft of snow.

If NY misses the worst and the operation can reset and get on line quickly tomorrow, all the better....none of which makes your night in the crashpad any more enjoyable....go and treat yourself to some of Queen's finest Chinese Take-out
