I don't know why I bother but here goes........

The biggest problem with keeping 9E around after cutting all the turboprop and 200 flying was the fact that everyone left were some of the most expensive pilots in the regional industry.

I wondered about this a few months ago. Why save Pinnacle if you have such a high labor rate? It didn't make any sense.

Then the big stick came, sign the lovely TA or go out of business.
Capping the rates at 4 and 12 years solves the problem partially. The rest need to go via being hired somewhere else.

Maybe they plan on using this "interview" process to move some senior people out that wouldn't leave prior.

Couple that with a few more than 81 900's and you can imagine the kind of low labor rate the new 9E has in a very short period of time.

But what do I know? I was certain that DOH was the best way to go on the ISL also.
