Yes, just under $1500 dollars. Get the check usually the second week of training.

IAH for ground, and sim if it's available. Otherwise go to Hobbby. They have guys go to other locations as well. FLL, DFW, just depends.

When I went through, it was about 5 weeks from day 1 to PC, then about 2 weeks for IOE. Started on the minimum garauntee after the PC. I've heard there can be a wait now, back log and a lack of check airman.

No on the AQP/train to proficiency thing. The training is good (I've heard AE's is as well) and you should be ready. If you are not coming along, you can ATR (additional training required) to catch up. However, the PC is conventional pass/fail. No mulligans like on an AQP ride with the MV/loft combo.
