Complete, unsubstantiated hearsay, but supposedly the FO saved them by very quickly undoing the captains error. Flaps were still out, so continuous ignition was still going. Supposedly the Capt retired as an FO.
All correct. And the crazy part was after the FO saved their butts, the CA continued to CVG.
