Smart regionals actually seek out folks with college degrees who have upward potential. The guy with the GED is going to have real difficulty getting on at FDX, so he's going to stick around and hit the top of that 18 year pay scale...

That sort of consideration is secondary to getting meat-in-the-seat, which is the challenge right now. Anyone should be able to get a regional job today.
