You are just an annoying apprentice to most trying to earn his keep. And most regional CBA's reflect that. Pay scales aren't designed for one to live off of. After 6+ years with a company and most likely 10+ into your career you need to start being able to pay your investment back and take a break from pre flights, post flights and those damn hotel key card responsibilities that are apparently in some company policy booklet that I have yet to see. There comes a time when you have paid your dues and you are ready for the next challenge.

This is a generic statement but many could agree with this. There's still that entitlement generation that always feels as if they DESERVE something without doing the work. But 8-10 years in the right seat at a regional airline is way too long. I don't care if the guys at Comair were doing it. It's still not right.
