After 6+ years with a company and most likely 10+ into your career you need to start being able to pay your investment back and take a break from pre flights, post flights and those damn hotel key card responsibilities that are apparently in some company policy booklet that I have yet to see. There comes a time when you have paid your dues and you are ready for the next challenge.

This is a generic statement but many could agree with this. There's still that entitlement generation that always feels as if they DESERVE something without doing the work. But 8-10 years in the right seat at a regional airline is way too long. I don't care if the guys at Comair were doing it. It's still not right.
I don't know about all that but what I'm sick of is some of the D-Bag CA's. Nothing's worse than them setting a crap tone in the cockpit for 4 days and you having to endure. What use to be a grind through has become a push back. I'm hearing this is common with FO's who've been stuck in right seat for more than a typical regional span. If anything, I'd like the left seat just to relax a little and allow everyone to do their job. Controlling is a bad attribute!!

Anyone can agree to disagree but either way, I don't care what you think.

Rant over.
