1/2 price? I just took 2 minutes and looked up a OW in March from FLL-LGA and saw Spirit at $108. Travelocity shows Delta, JetBlue, Airtran, and USAir all between $102 and $110. It seems that most haven't figured out the total cost.
I just randomly picked 3/11 OW non-stop to the same destination on Travelocity. It shows Sprit at $118 and Delta and JB at $124. BUT, if you go to the individual websites, Spirit is $69, Delta and JB are $124.
I've always found that the Company's sites are usually cheaper than those discount fare finders.
