Sorry Wolf, I was just using the peer group shot that Alvrb used against me. My point is that hat healthcare COST in the United States is rising at a rapid rate. With the government stepping into the market insurance companies are angry and panicky. They've passed costs on to companies which then have the option to pass it on to the employees. We don't have a CBA, so we get what we get and don't have a fit. I agree that this is an excellent talking point in discussing a CBA. I've said it many times on this board, when it comes time to write a CBA we need to be realistic. Notice Alvrb isn't disputing that AA gave back billions in wages for the company's survival. The reality is that JetBlue is a very transparent company. There is a relationship between labor and management that is different from most companies. There needs to be a preservation of this relationship when a CBA is written. If Alvrb is on the negotiating team he will arrive with face paint, arrows and large club. ME WANT $$$$$!!! NOW!!! GIMME! This is where we can not be, with or without ALPA. I fear that ALPA loves the "look at how you screwed us, so now we'll screw you" game.
