We don't have a CBA, so we get what we get and don't have a fit. I agree that this is an excellent talking point in discussing a CBA. I've said it many times on this board, when it comes time to write a CBA we need to be realistic. Notice Alvrb isn't disputing that AA gave back billions in wages for the company's survival. The reality is that JetBlue is a very transparent company. There is a relationship between labor and management that is different from most companies. There needs to be a preservation of this relationship when a CBA is written. If Alvrb is on the negotiating team he will arrive with face paint, arrows and large club. ME WANT $$$$$!!! NOW!!! GIMME! This is where we can not be, with or without ALPA. I fear that ALPA loves the "look at how you screwed us, so now we'll screw you" game.

Really???

ALPA lawyers have access to the financials of the Airlines their Pilots fly for. Does this Pilot group get to peruse the books at JB under a provision of the DR???

When JB has decisions to make on Pilot issues, are they brought before The Ethics and Compliance Officer's Association every quarter for review???

Transparency????

If I was on a negotiating team, I would want the books open for our lawyers, and considerations on significant matters reviewed by an Ethics Officer and the E&COA.

That's just good business practice. That's REAL TRANSPARENCY!
