A 900ER is smaller? Right, only 173 seats. Same fuselage too. I've flown both, I'll take the 737NG any day. The 757 looks like a 737-500 on the inside.
The 757 and 737 are the exact same dimensions (width-wise) in terms of the fuselage.
However, the floor on the 757 is lowered slightly compared to the 737. This gives the appearance of a more "roomy" cabin.
The only difference being the length.
