I agree 100%. You should be interviewing the airline just as much as they interview you. Obviously not quite as much durring the interview but before hand on your part.
Look at what the Pay, Benefits, and work rules are. You may find that at some regional airlines your pay and quality of life may be much worse than your life flying the baron. Rarely does anyone get to a regional and spend just a year on the line and then off to the legacy or cargo carrier. what that means is you need to be very carefull about your dreams of flying a jet to actually hurt your lifestyle. Progresion in this career should mean improved lifestyle and pay. Its really not hard to find that either.
Just look at more options and consider you goals and more importantly your expectations as a professional pilot.
