GoJet circumvented Trans States Airlines collective bargaining agreement. Any pilot who goes to work for GoJet is simply saying, "Yes, we know, that's okay with us. Stop the presses, unlike the 9E pilots, Hulas gave the TSA pilots a chance to fly the 70 seaters at a certain wage rate. TSA's MEC thought it was too low and wanted more, but they had no leverage. In this industry you negotiate and fight with leverage, without it you have nothing to fight with.
And yeah, the court said Colgan had to be a single operation for us back then, which would have led to an SLI with Colgan, but then the judge went back on his word.
