Not a TOTD nomination, buuuuut, I've gotta say I've seen some *interesting* footwear on airline pilots. Black running and walking type shoes, some of black work boot thing, brown shoes with black pants, and more...(I'm not a good describer of footwear) .

Never really understood the cowboy boot thing either. ??? I flew with one guy that actually owned and rode a horse, so I sorta get it. But what about everyone else? Are they more comfortable than shoes? At first blush, it seems a bit like mirrored sunglasses. Sunglasses? Good, necessary. Mirrored? Maybe a little over the top.

I imagine there are a few cowboy boot wearers on here, and I'd be honestly interested to know why you prefer them. I could be missing out on something. Like George Costanza and his cashmere.
