I disagree. If the problem was between two individuals then yes, settle it man to man but this problem involves EVERYBODY who pays dues and they deserve to know where their hard earned money has been going!
You have always had the ability to know where your dues go. Like his email said it's all public.
The email is all about shock value, using one tab in one of the most expensive cities in the nation where the IRS rate is like $70 for dinner. Is it a lot of money? Yes. I just don't think emailing an entire pilot group over a dinner tab is advancing any greater cause, it just creates unnecessary drama.
Maybe Tony will respond with a public breakdown of his schedule and time spent doing ALPA work during the bankruptcy negotiations. Would that make a difference? I think it would be more time wasted on politics.
