Think about it, these people have been at our company for 15+ years and a lot of them are in their 40's. They have kids, get weekends off, fly naps or 3 day trips. Vacation is in the summer and sits between each calendar month where 65 hours is all they need on either side. Then they extend the 3 weeks of vacation over 6 months. Some have wives that make great money and chasing a 777 for $200 some an hour really isn't what they care about. If people don't need the money or have other priorities such as family, side businesses or anything else, what do you care?

"It's holding my back from upgrade"
"They are expensive and regionals were not designed to have the pay scale max out"

If you complain with quotes above, then don't come to the airlines. Welcome to seniority, what decision senior people do is really none of your business and who are you to question their decision.

Just my opinion.
Well said. Unfortunately, the spiky haired Gen-Ys and Millennials just want them to get out of "their" seat.
