When they got furloughed from the aforementioned companies, due to poor management and unsustainable costs (ie. labor contracts), they went to JetBlue.
Please put the juice down for a minute. It is really naive to think JetBlue is so special or immune to furloughs. JetBlue had great timing and started just before the worst financial times in the history of aviation. JetBlue has never NEEDED to furlough but if they ever do hang onto your hat. JetBlue claimed benevolence back in 2008 stating they could have furloughed during record high fuel prices and over staffing. Interestingly enough as soon as the union drive was over in late 08 into early 09 they held a new hire class. This place is NO different then the legacy carriers. Don't be duped, you are just a part number.
