I don't disagree with the idea of buying and taking control. I don't think Delta wants to pay the current price though. I also don't think Delta will sit around if Alaska goes forward with the Emirates codeshare. That could be a big blow to the SEA feed. On the other hand, Delta paid over a billion a piece for ASA and Comair only to poop the value away. Time will tell if RA is more smart than guys like Leo who went before him.
