Ah yes, I remember ol' FK. The one (and thankfully, only) experience I had with this guy was when I called him as a newbie, at management's suggestion, to ask for guidance/help when payroll left me with a $100 paycheck due to "overpayment error." The guy wouldn't believe me when I told him what new hires were being paid during training (literally, said "No no, where did you get that from? That's not correct".) Then, told me to talk to payroll because "that wasn't ALPA's issue" and they couldn't do anything about it. Way to help out a "brother" there, chief.
I once flew with a captain who said that ALPA at EGL was nothing more than a very expensive magazine subscription. Man, was he right!
