My numbers are straight from crew resources. March will be updated again tomorrow. The ALPA numbers vary as they are counted at different times.
Why don't we just declare that you are both right?
I think it's clear that in the last year many pilots on mloa have returned, probably at a higher rate then normal. While new hires are great, it's also great to get these guys back actively flying. If the net result is no off the street hiring, because these guys are coming back at an accelerated rate, then so be it. Eventually the mloa list will stabilize.
