On the 5 day thing, get over it. As pilots we are always evaluatin the other options, now that we have a deadline to pull the trigger make up your minds and move on. My father was once given 20 minutes to decide whether or not to move his family 800 miles.... 5 days is pleanty.
It has very little to do with making a decision within five days, everything to do with the leniency the Association grants the Company time and time again. I'm not saying the leniency shouldn't have been granted, just that it is a recurring theme.
