What's up with Capt's that 'guard' the rudder trim during TO roll? If you lose an engine you prob need that hand to apply TOGA power. Trimming should be the least of your worries at that point, how about fly the plane first? I don't get it
I've never had to touch the trim on this AC other than the v1 cut AP off in the sim...
.....but I've flown several times with a CA that trims on initial climb, ***, he also takes off with his hand on the trim knob immediately after I call v1.
-I've asked him if he trims the sim during normal TOs-
-He said- it's a simulator it doesn't need it!!!-
