Clinton requested and got a deferrment. As did others. The difference? When he came back he knew the next would not be approved and he'd have to go. I don't believe UnderOveur called Obama a draft dodger. Yes...Clinton was a draft dodger. But why would anyone be surprised about a politician (Left or Right) feeling they are above the call of duty? It must be nice to be part of the political elite. Politicians are a self-serving narcissist lot, that's for sure.
Back on topic: I think this is a desperate measure by Trumpka to try and shore up decreasing union numbers. Less membership means less dues, and if they don't refill the ranks soon, his fatass might have to go get a REAL job.
