Hotel requirements, crewroom requirement, uniform accout $400/year, fatigue calls paid from sick bank, hotel room in base (also circumstantial) etc. Let me clarify what this min day means for us at psa. 3.5 hours min pay except: day one if the trip starts after 1200 local. Day last if the trip ends before 1700 local. Basically it will usually only kick in day 2 and 3, those pesky 2 leg days that are not productive. Our day 1 and last are usually 3 or 5 legs, ie more than 3.5 hours credit.
