Liquid can't go thru the tsa checkpoint, but you can buy it in the airport. Also, at least on my plane, we probably carry 3 cases of wine every leg. We might even have cognac.
Our FAs also serve food with metal silverware knife and fork included.
If you are just afraid of people, that is a whole different issue.
Sorry to burst your bubble but I'm most certainly not afraid of "people." I'm just not too fond of mentally unstable (or intoxicated/drugged up) people being able to carry something that can do some damage. But, if you're ok with it I suppose you'll be supportive and understanding if you or one of your loved ones happened to be a victim.
