I'm not posting here to defend the TSA or anything they do or do not do. The TSA's is a virtual embarrassment. The fact is, their existence is an example embodying dimished freedoms in our country, but that is a topic for another discussion.
I have to agree with Shoelu. You can make a weapon out of almost anything, including allowed items, if you are motivated to do that. Bad things happen to people all the time. Sometimes those things are even caused by people they trusted.
The issue here is not the security of my loved ones. The issue is TSA's cheese.
