Which he did; golfing, fishing, tennis, football, sporting events, school events, and vacations all without the stress of the office. When he was home we were all that mattered to him. It's not about the job or how often you're gone; it's about who you are, what you mean to your family and what you do with the time you have!
SAD!!!!!!!!
Of course I really don't have to point this out; it's obvious in your ramblings.
This is the exact attitude that I hear from everyone who is succesfull in this career AND in their family life. I have spoken with numerous Delta captains here in SLC and their families who had the same attitude as your father and all were succesfull at the job and at home. The ones who had a crappy home life, went to work and then came home and only cared about themselves and what THEY wanted to do. Jet Jock keep the attitude your father had and I truly believe you will be a success at work and at home. I look up to you and your fathers attitude toward work and family life and hope to pattern myself after it. Good Luck! Keep the great attitude!
