You are correct. However, this is based on the company making no adjustments to the way it currently operates. There are many policies and procedures the company runs by that are very inefficient and obsolete. If they change some of those operating procedures there will be a need for less pilots. And a pilot costs more than the changes needed. Please don't drink the koolaid.

They want you to feel as if they need a break so when it comes time to take YOUR pay in order to make things work, remember this.
