Looking at the Big Picture.....
If the merger is "complete" (from a pilot's prospective) as you say, then wouldn't that be indicative of a
completed SLI/ISL via either one, or a combination of direct/mediated/arbitrated avenues?? With that being said, then those being "recalled" to the Single Carrier (New UAL), those Pilots would return to their Seniority by which the SLI/ISL produced.....Pretty cut-n-dry.
The question I would have would be the following......
Being that there's a "No-Bump-No-Flush" clause, those being recalled to the Single Carrier after the SLI/ISL is complete, would they be taken/offered in the SLI/ISL's rendered seniority order, or would the Airline have to absorb the mass surplus of recalls due to the "No-Bump-No-Flush"? That will be interesting to see. With the "1 every 18hours" just around the corner starting in 2014, maybe the company is hanging their hat on the topside retirement's assuming the Age 65 stays as is.
Interesting times to say the least.
