Apparently you haven't noticed that SkyWest Inc. has been quickly diversifying their business away from Delta. Delta flying is now a minority of their total, and will continue to shrink. Right now Delta needs Jerry more than Jerry needs Delta. He isn't going to continue playing their games, and will not bid below cost, causing the Delta side to shrink further. So now that we've addressed the "forced sale" of PCL, give me one good reason why SkyWest Inc would want to invest in that company. Knowing how SkyWest operates, I say if they were going to buy it, they would have swooped in during the bankruptcy. They paid 26 million for the Expressjet division, when analysts predicted they were 6 months from bankruptcy.
I sincerely hope that the ASA PBS has an option to avoid flying with you. Enjoy your paycut.
