It has nothing to do with bidding incorrectly. With the reduction bid, some pilots had bid for a voluntary displacement out of DTW so they would be eligible for the CBA displacement benefits. The company rescinded the reduction AFTER the bid closed, which left no opportunity for those pilots that still wanted to leave DTW to change their bid accordingly.
That means they don't know how to bid correctly. If it shows them moving bases they had it under the vacancy tab which also means no moving benefits.. If they only had it under the voluntary displacement they would not be moving because there was no displacements.
